The Caerhays Eatate Castle and gardens are one of Britain's hidded gems. The gardens and grounds overlooking Porthluney Cove include magnificent camellias and rhododendrons for which the estate is world famous. The Plant Heritage National Collection of Magnolias also has its home here. 1979's TV adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier's 'Rebecca' was filmed at the Castle and the Du Maurier Festival takes place in Fowey every year in the middle of May. Within easy reach you will find The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. The coastal path runs through the estate along the edges of beaches and coves and the privately-owned beaches at Caerhays and Portholland are a fantastic throwback to another time. With a choice of luxurious properties within the grounds, on the beach or with spectacular countryside walks and views there is something to appeal to everyone. Our properties sleep from 2 to 16 and are available throughout the year. Download a pdf of the Map and directions here.
