Bottom Lodge

Caerhays Castle is pleased to announce the opening of Bottom Lodge. Situated opposite the magnificent Porthluney beach and accessed directly through the castle's main gates. Bottom Lodge is positioned in the left turret with a large private garden and stunning views towards the castle nestling on the hill behind. A cosy one bedroomed retreat for two guests, with all the facilities that Caerhays Castle can offer, including free entrance to the castle gardens in season. Its location is superb, sitting on the beach at Porthluney and in very close proximity to Portholland beach.

Lounge/diner
Open plan, with a deep seated sofa and dining area. Comfort for our guests is paramount, so not only is Bottom Lodge fully central heated, a wood burner has been installed for those cosy evenings in.

Kitchen
The galley styled kitchen is fully equipped with top quality appliances, including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and everything else one needs to create a culinary delight.

Bedroom
One step up from the lounge this stunning bedroom with king size bed and luxurious surrounding is the perfect retreat for weary heads. Hand picked furniture, beautiful fabrics and hand crafted curtain poles finishes this room to the highest of standards.

Bathroom
Accessed off the lounge, a small utility area for laundry can be found. This then leads on through into the bathroom, with top quality fittings including both bath and separate shower. Lots of fluffy towels and endless supply of hot water makes it a perfect niche.

Garden
Accessed either from outside through a side entrance, or through the kitchen, the large laid to lawn garden can be found. It is boarded on one side with the castle wall and a view of Caerhays Castle on the other. A slightly raised patio area gives you the view of the stunning countryside, and with being in such close proximity to the beach, the sound of the sea.
