The Fish Sheds, Caerhays Castle
Entrance
Fish Sheds is located on two levels and the main entrance is virtually
directly off the beach. The Retreat is designed around a light and airy feel so it is paramount that the designers have left it opened planned.
Lounge
Open plan, a staircase divides the lounge area to the left with the kitchen/dining area to the right. The lounge is designed with deep seated sofas and armchairs, slate floors and top quality furnishings. Comfort for our guests is paramount. So not only does Fish Sheds have full underfloor heating we have installed a wood burner for those cosy evenings in. Magnificent views onto the beach and coast beyond.
Kitchen/Diner
The Kitchen is fully equipped with top quality appliances including fridge/freezer and dishwasher and everything else one needs to create a culinary delight. Incorporating a dining area with large table to accommodate family and guests to dine at this beautiful beach side retreat. Views directly onto the beach from the kitchen window.
Bedroom/ground floor
This lovely bedroom with a 4ft 6" Double bed and luxurious surrounding and beach views incorporating a opening window to allow guests to walk onto the beach from their bedroom.
Hand picked furniture, beautiful fabrics finishes this room to the highest of standards. Ideal as main bathroom is located next door.
Bathroom/groundfloor
Main bathroom with top quality fittings with bath and shower over. Due to its design there is some limited headroom when standing in the bath. Lots of fluffy towels and endless supply of hot water
makes it a perfect niche.
Guest Bedroom
Located on the first floor, this luxurious bedroom with queen size (6ft) zip and link bed has been furnished with hand picked furniture of the highest standards. It has no views of the sea but has two roof windows which allow light to flood in. Thus creating a perfect bedroom for weary heads.
Guest Bedroom
Located on the first floor, its design is mezzanine with balustrades that overlook the lounge area below. The interior design team have screened this pretty bedroom not only to reduce noise levels but also to create a private bedroom for guests comfort. It is a twin bedded room with a nautical theme which is perfect for its beach side location. Two roof windows, sloping canopy ceiling, giving this bedroom a characteristic all of its own.
Outside
Large gravel area to the front elevation which is the sole use for the guests staying at the Fish Sheds. Beach access is just a few steps away with a gentle slope taking you down on to the beach. Niche has also provided a private picnic table which is located to the side of the Fish Sheds with stunning views of the beach and coast beyond.
The proximity of the beach to this retreat is so close that shutters are provided on some of the windows to reduce sand blasting in stormy weather. You can taste the sea its so close.
Car Parking
Two designated private car parking spaces have been provided for guests staying at Fish Sheds which are clearly signed.
