Westward

Westward is a stunning retreat located right above the beach, in the unspoilt fishing village of Porthleven. It is surrounded by the former Tye rock hotel grounds, and boasts the most fantastic views over Mounts Bay and beyond. The accommodation is reversed to take advantage of the outstanding sea views at this fantastic location. Ideally situated for lazing on the terrace in summer or weather watching while enjoying the warmth of the stunning wood burner.

Master bedroom (first floor)
This is a huge room furnished with a 6ft bed, and hand made furniture all crafted from Indonesian hardwoods. The en-suite bathroom comes complete with hand shower and bath, and all fittings are of the highest quailty. The balcony is also "en-suite" giving our guests the opportunity to "nod off" to the gentle sounds of the waves or marvel at the fury of the sea during a storm, all from the comfort of your Niche retreat!

Guest bedroom (first floor)
Double bed, decorated with refreshing fabrics and furnishings. En-suite bathroom includes a large shower.

Guest bedroom (ground floor)
Very much a childrens room, adult size bunk beds with access to en-suite shower room.

Lounge and dining area
Fantastic views looking out over patio area and beach. Top quality furnishings, leather sofas, elegant wood burner and large flat screen TV, a top quality retreat.
Dining area seats eight in case you have guests while you relax at Westward House. Downstairs cloakroom with shower and toilet.

Kitchen
Supplied with all you could want from a kitchen, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and dishwasher.

Garden
Huge patio area overlooking the beach with steps down to the lawned area. Garden furniture and BBQ provided.
