Description

See the sea. Muse over the mount. Savour the space and the vista of your coastal Cornish retreat while the family make themselves at home or debate which beach to they’ll explore first.

Seaside spectacle

St Michael’s Mount draws your eye at every possible moment here. Every effort has been made to make the most of the view. The floor to ceiling picture window of the sitting room could well be fought over for the best view in the house, while even the angular window in the kitchen has been added to provide the best glimpse of the tidal isle and its castle

This large family holiday home appeases all ages. The views will please all, the play equipment in the back garden will occupy others while the glass fence around the front lawn provides peace of mind as well as continuing uninterrupted views from St Michael’s Mount across to Mousehole and Penzance. On the first floor the sitting room is a lovely open space with ample seating that leads into the kitchen and on to the dining room. Opening on to a small balcony, the table and chairs here call you to al fresco morning coffees as you watch the sailing boats go by. With light pouring in from all angles this is a bright and modern home away from home.

Marazion with its fairytale castle and tidal beach promises a stunning family holiday in Cornwall. At the seashore adrenalin junkies can fill up on surfing, sailing, windurfing and kitesurfing while little’uns battle it out for the best sandcastle or deepest hole. After a day at the beach the outside heated shower is the perfect provision for leaving excess sand behind.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The first of four bedrooms is on the first floor with a king size bed and en suite shower room. Three more bedrooms on the ground floor include another kind size, one twin and a single with a pull-out trundle bed if required. In the family bathroom there is a gorgeous freestanding bath as well as separate shower.

Reviews

The cottage was lovely, very well equipped, in a stunning location , with incredible sea views. There is one thing to consider when choosing the cottage, that’s access. If you have mobility issues or a dog that is unable to use stairs, there is no access to the living area of the cottage. The lounge, kitchen, and dinning area are all on the upper level. If you have no mobility issues I would highly recommend the cottage .

Dr S,

Great location and plenty of space for a large group, would definitely stay there again. Ideally located with bus route at bottom of the road. Beautiful views of St Michael’s mount.

Mrs G,

I don't like upside down properties but this one works really well, access to the garden from upstairs and great views across the bay.

Mrs L,

Great unit and a First class location, a great find

Previous Customer,

Excellent property in great location overlooking St Michael's Mount and having the living rooms on the first floor takes full advantage of the views. Well equipped and furnished and the cream tea awaiting us on arrival was very welcome.

Mr F,

Fantastic house with amazing views over Mount's Bay. Ideal location. House was immaculately clean and well presented. Have stayed in many cottages in Cornwall, but this one will take some beating!

Many thanks for renting us such a fantastic house. We absolutely loved it. We normally like to pass back constructive comments but this one was so good that I cannot think of anything that could be improved. Please pass on our thanks the lady who looks after the house and cleans it to such an exceptional standard.

Just spent a wonderful week in this fabulous property. The specification of the house is second to none and the views were amazing. It will be hard to find another property to match the facilities, finish, comfort, location and views of this one.
