Our property - The Garden Cottage - at Trewithen is set in 30 acres of woodland gardens and over 2,000 acres of surrounding parkland. Trewithen, literally translated, means 'House of the Trees' and, once you've visited, you'll see how apt a name it is.

Trewithen's reputation for the scope and quality of its botanical collection is worldwide, and the same goes for its trees. Amongst the woods are beautiful walks and peaceful avenues, and our property here is to be found in the grounds of this world-famous but tranquil country estate.Unlike other members of the public, those staying in this property enjoy full, unimpeded access to the entirety of the grounds, at any time of year (the sole proviso being that pheasant-shooting takes precedence from October to January).
