Situated in a quiet no through village lane, this stunning 3 storey house has been beautifully furnished throughout and boasts 4 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, a spacious and open plan kitchen and living room with log burner and bi fold doors plus a separate snug/TV room.
Recently built to a very high specification, you have all the benefits of a modern house. It is well insulated and throughout the property there is quality flooring, solid oak doors, dimmable lighting plus wooden shutter blinds in all windows. The bathrooms consist of high quality Porcelanosa suites with beautiful wall to wall tiling and underfloor heating.
Enter into a large hallway with oak flooring, there’s a snug room on your right with L shaped sofa and TV with Sky package. The main open plan living area is light and spacious with a large oak dining table with comfortable upholstered chairs for up to 10 people. The living area offers a selection of luxury seating, a wood burning stove and the piece de resistance; dual aspect bi-fold doors leading out onto a secluded patio area with pretty borders and table and chairs, ideal for some al fresco dining.
The bespoke open plan kitchen also overlooking the patio has all the space and equipment you need to help make your stay go smoothly. Appliances are integrated into the glossy cupboards and granite work top. There’s also a Smart TV for streaming your favourite programs, plus Sonos sound system.
Leading off from the kitchen is a utility room with sink, washing machine and condenser dryer. There’s plenty of space for muddy boots and a door leading to the side of the house.
The first floor has 3 en-suite bedrooms; the master bedroom has plenty of space, a king size bed, built in wardrobes and dual aspect windows overlooking the rear garden. There is an impressive en-suite with bath and shower attachment plus walk in shower cubicle. The second bedroom is smaller but has lovely views to the sea and Purbeck hills, a king size bed and en-suite with large walk in shower cubicle. The third bedroom is another spacious room overlooking the rear garden and has the benefit of a walk through dressing room leading to en-suite with bath and shower attachment and separate shower cubicle.
The second floor attic room contains the fourth bedroom with sea views, a king size bed and another walk through dressing room leading to an en-suite with bath with shower attachment and separate walk in shower cubicle.
There are 2 blow up beds that can be made available if flexible sleeping arrangements are required; please contact the office if you wish to use them. Please note the property sleeps a maximum of 8 persons plus 1 infant.
Outside the back garden is tiered with a raised lawn which is accessed by 8 steps up. There is a handrail plus a gate at the bottom to stop small children from gaining access unsupervised. The lawn is fully enclosed by a fence and rear stone wall with pretty borders. The secluded lower patio area includes a large wooden dining table and chairs with additional benches. There’s a lockable side gate leading to the front garden.
Langton Matravers is a great base to stay in. The village although small, has a number of attractions including a pub, museum and a children’s activity farm with café and a village store. There are some lovely walks from the house itself and the Southwest Coastal Path is easily accessible for those wanting to explore the stunning World Heritage coastline.
The Victorian seaside town of Swanage with its eclectic mix of independent cafes, shops and galleries is only 2 miles away. Not to mention of course its sandy beach and steam railway. The historic and picturesque Corfe Castle is just 5 miles away and the National Trust beach at Studland with its 4 miles stretch of sandy beach is within a 15 minute drive.
