Tucked away in the heart of Weymouth's historic harbourside sits Cobb Cottage. Built in 1837, the cottage benefits from plentiful charm with a wood burning stove and feature bay window in the master bedroom. Once a former bookshop, the cottage has been lovingly renovated by its current owners into a stunning holiday property.
The ground floor comprises of an open plan living and dining area, with long bench table, chesterfield style settee and wood burning stove. The modern kitchen is flooded with natural daylight from skylights above. Up to the first floor is the master king size bedroom, with stripped wooden flooring and king size bed. The family bathroom is modern and stylish, with 'Jack and Jill' doors opening to the master bedroom and also the single bedroom next door. The second floor is home to a spacious loft room, with en-suite shower room.
Cobb Cottage is perfectly located for exploring the local area and attractions, step out of the front door into Weymouth Harbour, with a mix of independent coffee shops, galleries and plenty of eateries for all tastes from seafood to pub grub! From the cottage you can also reach Newton's Cove, a popular shallow water beach with rock pools for exploring, it is a firm favourite with locals all year round! Walk through the Nothe Gardens, soaking up the dramatic coastal scenery until you reach the Nothe Fort - built to defend the town in WWII. Take a trip further afield on one of the many boat trips that run from the harbour, explore sailing and watersports at Portland Marina or even pack a picnic and see where the day takes you.
Kitchen: Flooded with natural light from skylights above, the kitchen is modern and well equipped, with beautiful tiles and a quality finish. Integrated appliances including fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric hob, two eye level fan ovens, one with a grill, one with a microwave.
