Description
The cool contemporary design edge in this stunning Kent barn conversion blends the very best of then and now ensuring you’re enchanted and relaxed in your surroundings for the duration of your stay.
Bewitching barn
Saddlehurst Barn stands alone, wooden clad, unassuming and romantically lit at dusk. Little will you know, until you step over the threshold what bright and fresh touches await you in this fantastically finished holiday home in rural Kent. Making the most of upside down living, the kitchen, dining room and sitting room are on the first floor. In full show stopping style the barn’s ancient beams greet and guard you while the wide picture window reminds you of the modern world outside.
The sleek and colourful design choices bring the contemporary into this historic building. The marble worktop in the kitchen is both on point design wise and perfectly primed should you opt for baking activities while you’re here. While away relaxing evenings in from the comfort of plump leather sofas in the sitting room where you can load on the cosy vibes come winter by cranking up the Swedish style wood burner. From upstairs, the views across the Weald of Kent are enviable and we leave you hankering for a wander along nearby footpaths to discover more of this beautiful part of the country.
Soak up the sunshine of the Garden of England in the privacy of you own secluded garden. When the owners’ hens oblige you’ll find some fresh free range eggs in your welcome hamper for the most locally of sourced Kent brunches. In the summer months enquire about use of the covered swimming pool for an extra special addition to your stay. Heated and complete with a telescopic cover, it’ll do the trick come rain or shine.
The barn sits in the grounds of the owners’ beautiful farmhouse a short distance from Cranbrook and Sissinghurst. There are bustling market towns and stately National Trust properties to add to this already memorable stay in Kent.

On the ground floor are two en suite bedrooms offering cool in the hot summer months and cosy nights in chillier periods. The master bedroom has a king size bed and shower over bath while the twin bedroom has a double shower en suite.
