As soon as you draw up to Churchlands Barn, you’ll know it is the perfect luxury retreat for your family and friends. You’ll see the magnificent bifolds opening out to splendid countryside and a large paved terrace. You’ll notice the granite worktops, the flowers, the choice of seating areas.

Lightness bounces on to the granite worktops in the lovely well-equipped kitchen and pours in through the windows in the sumptuous living area. Pour yourself a glass of something chilled - you have arrived. Your family and friends will quickly disperse, exploring everything the house has to offer.

Outside, on the raised terrace, you’ll find a fabulous dining table and comfy seating for long al fresco dining and mentally reserve the seat with the best view. You’re likely to end every day in the splendid hot tub soaking up the splendid views across Romney Marsh.

When you’re ready to set foot outside this marvellous retreat, explore ruins, dunes and medieval towns. Discover the walkers’ and cyclists’ paradise of the Saxon Shore Way. A short walk will take you to the roaring log fires and specialist Rye Bay scallops dishes at the 14th century Ferry Inn. Tenterden, with its tree-lined High Street tempts you with its shops and cafes and steam train to the ruins of Bodiam Castle. Brave a dip in the sea at Camber Sands with a spot of surfing or go sailing on dry land on a sand yacht. The adventure is yours.

It’s a stunning location and a very comfortable, clean, luxurious property. Also being open plan our toddler ran around the ground floor the whole time loving the space. A wonderful place, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
