Description

Perhaps you’re in the hot tub looking out to Snowdonia as you admire the country views, or chilling in spacious comfort inside. But wherever you are, memories will be made to treasure forever.

Welsh wonder

The minute you arrive outside the welcoming stone façade you all know you’ve arrived at somewhere special. You’ve already noticed the sign to Abersoch beach (just 1 mile). And you’ll all take a moment to marvel at the majestic peaks of Snowdonia on the horizon.
Inside is a world combining traditional Welsh country home features with modern touches to offer a stately experience in spacious and stylish surroundings. Slate floors complement beamed ceilings and feature fireplaces complete with cosy wood burners. Quirky wallpaper adds interest, although your eyes are mostly drawn to the countryside and mountain views visible from every turn.
Then you’re captivated by the space. There might be 12 of you (plus two furry friends make this a pet-friendly pad of plushness too). But here, there’s room for every single one. Two (yes, two) living rooms await you. Each with big sumptuous sofas for ultimate relaxation. Dining takes place in the Orangery where comfy rattan provides front row seats for those views.

The modern kitchen has the added gem of a Rayburn and useful additions include a large pantry and utility room. Two dishwashers lighten the chores, although those green, green views through the big kitchen windows might just tempt you to a bit of washing up.
Outside, you’re on a 28-acre private estate (bags of room for letting off steam for humans and canines). The stone patio, strategically placed to get the best of the sun, includes comfy seating and a barbecue and hot tub. The youngsters (and not so young) will adore the massive barn with table tennis, pool and giant sofa.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Five bedrooms sleep 12 and include a family room for four guests. All have country views and antique furnishings, and all doubles are kings. There are three bathrooms (one en suite) upstairs and a handy cloakroom downstairs.

Reviews

Large house. Comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful grounds.

Dr H,

Excellent for large family gatherings of all ages.

Mrs Q,

We had a fabulous holiday at Pant Yr Hwch, everything we expected & more, the dogs loved it too ??

Mrs S R,

Some of the rooms needed a good clean. The lounge in particular smelt of animals with dog hair on the floors, carpets and settee. Only cleaned where the hoover would reach easily. Many cobwebs in rooms and cupboards. 2 sink plugs did not work so could not be used for shaving. Ensuite bathroom door would not close. Recreation area had a broken settee and was a bit run down. Hot tub was not on when we arrived.

Mr James K,

The property was wonderful is an idyllic location. They was everything you would need to host a large family holiday, including plenty of extra cutlery and crockery etc in a well stocked kitchen. Wendy the host was easy to converse with via text prior to our visit. The only I can see for improvement would be to make the information pack at the property more welcoming as opposed to a list of do's and don'ts. Apart from that we had a wonderful stay and Wendy has an amazing property.

Mrs Suzanne C,
