Originally built in the late 1800s, Lismore House has been tastefully modernised without compromising any of its Victorian grace. Located just a short walk from Cromer’s main pier, this bright, luxury self-catering property is a great base for families and groups of friends to enjoy the seaside resort’s beaches, pubs, restaurants, as well as the Norfolk Coastal Path.
Space to be together, places for peace and relaxation
Lismore House features a roof light window, exposed brick walls, and panelled doors to create an ambience of elegance and luxury for your self-catering getaway. With two sitting rooms, one of which enjoys a pleasant open-plan area between the fully-equipped kitchen and dining room, the house is also spacious. This spaciousness means room for privacy too, whether it be in the games room, featuring a full-size billiards table, or the private little snug, where guests can enjoy some peace and quiet by the fire. And this is without mentioning the romantic bay window seat at the back of the games room – where better to curl up with a cup of tea on a rainy afternoon?
On warmer days, when not at the beach or exploring the town, gather around the table for some nibbles and a peaceful glass of wine in the beautiful back garden. Holidays are a time for such easy moments, and Lismore House itself has all the makings for loving memories.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
There is a cloakroom with WC on the ground floor. Following the broad staircase to the first floor, there is a second bathroom, as well as the four bedrooms. The super-king master suite benefits from an en-suite bathroom which is also accessible from the landing. The king-size room has a bay window. The remaining two bedrooms are a twin room and double room respectively.
Practicalities
We welcome two small, well-behaved dogs. The owners provide a stairgate. We will require a £200 security deposit two weeks before the start of your holiday. We also offer a reduced occupancy discount for parties of four or less for a week’s booking, using two bedrooms only (please nominate on booking) during the low season. Mobile phone signal is good.
