Reviews

A consistently high standard set by the owners providing high quality, clean and comfortable accommodation. Thank you.

Mr T,

What an amazing home Bodlowen is. It has everything for a keen cook! Bedrooms are divine. The area is beautiful we have loved exploring the beaches with our dog. We shall be back!

Mrs Joanne W,

Bodlowen is ideal for us, it’s spacious, clean and comfortable and very well equipped. This is our second stay in Bodlowen and we’ll probably return again next year. Our grandsons aged 5 and a half years and 3 and a half years both enjoyed playing on the PlayStation and our 11 month old grandson mastered climbing the stairs for the first time while we were there. Bodlowen is ideally situated for some lovely beaches Treyarnon being our favourite and is close enough for an evening out at The Fish House on Fistral Beach and Barnaby’s at Trevibban Mill vineyard and orchards both of which we thoroughly recommend.

Mrs S,

High quality house to stay in and enjoy beaches in Cornwall.

Mr C,

Lovely property, very clean and very well equipped with kitchen utensils, bathroom towels, etc. In a very handy and pleasant location.

Mr C,

Location

St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat.  Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors.  And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too!  There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
