Rick Stein’s gastro pub, The Cornish Arms, is an enjoyable stroll down the tree lined pathway. For freshly baked bread, pasties, fresh local produce and an amazing selection of wines and craft beers to compliment your BBQ, visit the village convenience stores or deli.

We were extremely pleased with Bodlowen, it’s very spacious and well equipped and beach towels were included which is unusual. It felt like home from from home not a holiday rental property.
This property is of an outstanding standard with outstanding facilities
Excellent in every aspect!
Bodlowen is a beautiful property, it has everything you could possibly think of and more, it is pure luxury and I had the most relaxing break, there are two local pubs within walking distance and it is ideally placed to reach Padstow and the lovely nearly beaches. I did not want to leave!
Absolutely perfect!! Location, everything and more you would want for and very thoughtful human and dog welcome packs. Fabulous little village, with fantastic beaches close by.
Wow, just an amazing, beautiful, well decorated place to stay, with the most fantastic art collection to look at!
Fantastic property extremely well equipped - everything included you could possibly think of. Great location. Already booked the same property for Easter next year.
Really lovely property great location. Very well equipped everything you could need on holiday. Perfect family holiday.
Fabulous holiday home. Equipped and furnished exceptionally well . Exceptionally clean and maintained. Kitchen has everything a family could need. Lovely touches with the welcome afternoon tea and doggy bags of treats when you arrive. Great location .Pub, bakery, store and fish and chip shop all within a very short walking distance.
The property was fabulous and extremely well positioned for visiting the local beaches. We would look to stay there again if visiting the same area.
The property is a perfect home from home, very clean and well equipped. On arrival there was a a little bag of treats and a toy for our dog along with a crate we could use and dog bowls. The kitchen is really well equipped and a good size, there is no Nespresso coffee maker, just saying as you may take your pods like I did, as sometimes there is one! The beds were really comfortable with lovely bedding and soft fluffy towels. We will definitely stay at this property again. St Merryn was actually a good base for us to explore other parts of the area and you can walk to Constantine Bay and Harlyn Bay. You can also walk to The Cornish Arms and the nearby camp site have a really cool Street Food van at the weekends. You definitely won't be disappointed if you choose this property, it is perfect and the owners have obviously taken time to ensure their guests have a perfect stay, thank you.
St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat. Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors. And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too! There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
