Description

Ga Ga Barn is a flint barn that has been tastefully refurbished to provide you with a relaxing, self-catering getaway. With an open-plan layout, the sense of space is enthralling enough, but then the huge floor-to-roof windows and the barn’s raised vantage point allow the views and your sense of freedom to go on forever.

A place made for togetherness

Both nature lovers and city folk will find themselves at home here. Ga Ga Barn is peacefully set within parkland, but Cromer and its cafes, restaurants, and beaches are less than a ten-minute cycle ride away, and then the interior of the barn epitomises luxury. The floor-to-roof windows and modern furnishings combine with high, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and feature flint walls to fill the property with a sense of comfort and history. For rainy days, there is a games room with a table tennis table, but for every other day, step out the French doors and dine al fresco on the terrace, or just sit around the table for a glass of wine under the stars. On chillier nights, you can curl up by the open fire in the sitting area. Redesigned to bring out the elegance of its history, Ga Ga Barn is a warm, comfortable haven for families and groups of friends looking to relax in style.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Because of its size, Ga Ga Barn can accommodate four large bedrooms, all of which enjoy the barn’s trademark characteristics of bright rooms, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, and flint walls. Two of the super-king rooms benefit from en-suite bathrooms with WC, as well as access to the garden through French doors. The bed in the third super-king room can be converted to two single beds, and this room shares a “Jack & Jill” bathroom with the twin room. This shared bathroom has a shower and WC.

Practicalities

A cot, highchair and a starter pack of fuel for the open fire are all provided. If you have young children, they will need to be supervised near the unfenced pond. We require a damage deposit of £150 two weeks before the start of your holiday. Mobile phone signal is good.

Special Note: Ga Ga Barn is on the corner of Cromer Hall Estate, where shoots are held during the months of November, December and January.

Reviews

Beautiful and very comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting. The barn is huge, with great views, and Cromer is just a short walk away.

Mr S,

One of the best holiday accommodations I have ever stayed at, anyone who stays here are in for a real treat

Mrs A,

Fantastic location. Very spacious accommodation with huge well kept garden with lovely views and daily visits from the cows and sheep. Very helpful owners who very promptly sorted out a couple of issues.

Mrs O,

A very well equipped and spacious property - also a great location within walking distance to Cromer and beyond. We will definitely be back!

Mrs H,

Ga Ga Barn is a beautiful barn conversion. We arrived on a dismal November evening to discover a warm welcoming property. Bedrooms are spacious, beds comfortable and bathrooms huge with great showers and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well equipped with more than enough crockery and cutlery. The view across the ha ha to the field and wood was ever changing with the moving wildlife, sheep and cattle. We would love to visit again and experience Ga Ga in the summertime.

Mrs W,

Over the last 20 years, we've stayed in a lot of houses and this one is by far the best! The house is spacious, light, well-equipped and clean. Each room is beautiful and thoughtfully designed and made to feel so comfortable for our family of 4 to stay in for the week. The outside fields and gardens are lovely and filled with animals and wildlife such as the pheasants and deer. We loved the sheep and cow's daily visits, as well as the occasional horse riders. It's been the perfect holiday to celebrate my mum's 60th Birthday and we will surely miss the barn, the area, the people and the lovely animals. Thank you to the owners for helping us find the house! It was brilliant!
