Description

Milanese luxury is on offer in this contemporary apartment overlooking the Dyfi Estuary. Part of a former stable block, the building has been completely reimagined and converted to a high specification with a clear design aesthetic throughout.

Little Italy

Your slice of Lake Como in North Wales, this apartment owes a debt of gratitude to Italian cool. Restrained black leather furniture in the open plan living space surrounds the sliding patio doors through which the estuary view stretches into the distance. You’ll want to sip espresso while you watch wetland birds fly into the RSPB reserve over the river, and delight in fine wine on the decking as the sun sets over the water.

The marbled floors throughout are reflected in the kitchen counters, while the ice white kitchen is fully-equipped with a large refrigerator and full oven. Crystal lighting glints and sparkles above, while underfloor heating keeps the apartment cosy all year round. Serve croissants at the breakfast bar, hot chocolates curled up on the sofa on cooler nights and, of course, ice cream – whatever the weather.

A strong monochrome palette is interrupted only by natural softwoods, a flower in a vase or soft linens. Yet that only serves to show off the scenery to its most magnificent potential. Set in landscaped grounds that overlook the tree-lined valley and within striking distance of Aberdovey, a picturesque seaside village with a long, sandy beach, this could be your Welsh paradise. There are hiking trails in the Snowdonian foothills to the north and a local golf course. High-speed wi-fi, a large TV and binoculars to borrow mean you’re never short of entertainment inside the apartment, either.

This property is set in a charming courtyard laid with pretty flagstones and planted in a semi-formal style.
