Description
It’s not often that you’re totally distracted, but you just can’t take your eyes off the views. And oh what views. A whole world of glorious nature complete with an ocean, cliff tops, hillsides and mountains. All yours.
Panoramic Wales
This Welsh country house sits on a privileged spot, up on a hill between Abersoch and Bwlchtocyn. And with this lofty position come views, and what views they are too. Taking in miles of green, green countryside out to the sparkling ocean flanked by spectacular cliffs and rolling hills, and then out even further to the majestic Snowdonia mountain range.
Best of all, these glorious vistas are yours to admire from the main living area of the house where the family day room flows seamlessly into the large decked terrace. Sit anywhere here and feast your eyes on the best of Welsh mountain and seascapes. Whether you’re inside or out, the views are part and parcel of your own private natural backdrop.
Both the day room and the terrace offer lots of places to sit for a frontline peek. A massive corner sofa beckons on the terrace while inside it’s a smaller version (but just as comfy) inviting you to sit and contemplate. You’ll be cooking up more than a little something on the gas barbecue – how’s that for grilling with a view?
From everywhere in the day room, these views come uninterrupted through the giant bi-fold doors and infinity glass. You even get to enjoy them from the kitchen. Who knew that even washing up isn’t a chore when you’re looking out to Cardigan Bay? And from the family den, complete with cosy sofa and wood stove with views over to Bardsey Island, also clearly on the horizon from the lucky two guests who bag the upstairs twin.
Kids will love the big garden, down some gentle steps from the terrace. Down on the lawn there’s another outside dining area. And to join you in your family fun, there’s room for one dog too.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Morannedd provides four generously-sized bedrooms, two doubles and two twins. Two are on the lower floor where there’s also an en suite shower room and family bathroom. Upstairs is another family bathroom.
