Description
Sit back, relax and take in those views. All that rolling Welsh countryside, yours to savour and enjoy. Your haven, your peace and quiet, and your little extra touches. If only it was a forever holiday.
Welsh Wonder
As you step out of the car and take in the vast sweep of rolling hills, green, green pastures and majestic mountains, you know you’ve arrived at somewhere special. And then ahead of you, delight in stone and slate with all the space you need and those little touches you deserve. This heavenly Welsh holiday home is pet-friendly too, welcoming up to three 3 furry friends.
Walk into your open plan dining and kitchen area, light and airy, a delight to behold. And cook and dine in comfort. Take in the painted oak cabinets, sleek grey granite countertops and all the appliances. Yes, two ovens. And then across the elegant country flagstones (heated via ground source so extra points for sustainability) to the stunning oak dining table with more than room enough for 14 diners.
Then after you’ve chilled in the private sauna, head to the upper floor where it’s all about even more relaxation. Flop back into one of three plush leather sofas – choose your spot for Rhiw mountain views or long vistas of the Llyn Peninsula. Snuggle up in the warmth from the log fire as you all sit back under the eaves.
Five very spacious bedrooms provide sleep fit for kings and queens, and two work ideally as family suites. You might just want to get to Bedroom 5 first to ensure you bag the nights of sleep with Llyn Peninsula views. But then again, Bedroom 4 boasts an aluminium boat-type bath...
Venture outside and there’s a ton of space. The kids (and dogs) can run around to their heart’s content and will love the climbing frame and football goals. They can even take in the views as they jump on the trampoline. And just a little further are all the delights of this very, very pretty part of Wales. Miles of golden sands, hidden coves, quaint fishing villages, golf, surf and all that glorious rolling landscape.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Gadlas has five roomy bedrooms, all with super king or king-size beds. Bathrooms for the three bedrooms on the ground floor include one en suite wet room and family bathroom. Upstairs, each bedroom has an en suite.
Location
Situated down small country lanes between Bryncroes and Sarn Mellteyrn in a brilliantly scenic and central location on the Lleyn Peninsula. These two luxury cottages in North Wales are just three quarters of a mile from Sarn – a lovely walk in itself. Fantastic views, with circular walks possible along country lanes and pathways from the cottage.
The village of Sarn Mellteyrn offers pottery, tea rooms and two good pubs. There is a shop with post office, and a garage with shop that rents out DVDs in the village, as well as a small playing field which can be reached by a pleasant walk along the country lanes.
