Marian Graig is an 18th-century, former blacksmith’s cottage recently refurbished into an ideal luxury self-catering getaway for two. Set on the shores of a land romantically known for its pride and devotion, this cottage is where lovebirds, new and old, can come together again.

A luxury love nest

Tucked away behind the mighty mountains of Snowdonia, on the headland overlooking the most sheltered sandy beach in North Wales, lies the village of Llanbedrog and this blissfully romantic holiday cottage. Combining traditional Welsh character with a modern eye for comfort, Marian Graig invites you to cuddle up in the cosy glow of inglenook fireplace wood burner.

While the sun is still out, have an intimate al fresco dinner on the patio. Then, with friendly pubs, art galleries, and the beach all within a few minutes’ walk, you might enjoy an evening stroll through town. In fact, billowing with heather and fringed with pine trees, the steep, rocky headland above the beach is a breath-taking place from which to watch the sunset. But don’t go too far – back at Marian Graig, you’re sure to slip into the hot tub and finish the day gazing up at the stars.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

With a single room on the first floor, Marian Graig makes romantic couples travelling alone. The couple is still the undeniable priority, however, and nowhere is that clearer than the luxurious double room under the gables. In the beautifully-appointed bathroom, the double-ended bath is an ideal place to let reality soak even further away, to the gentle glow of candlelight and soft music.

There is private, off-road parking for two cars. Immediately next door to the house is a separate laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and storage space for bikes. One bag of kindling and two starter bags of firewood for your stay are supplied, and additional logs can be purchased locally. We are also happy to provide a high chair and travel cot, but ask that you please request these upon booking. 1 dog welcome - Please inform us when booking. Should not be left unattended in the cottage at any time, in the bedrooms or on furniture. The property has Netflix. Sorry, children (aged between 2 and 17) are not permitted at this property

This was our 2nd stay at Marian Graig and it won’t be our last! The cottage is stunning everything is thought of for your holiday

Mr C,

A beautiful, clean cottage in a lovely location for nearby walks to the beach, scenic walks, local shops and pubs. Just what we wanted as a family.

Mr S,

Llanbedrog is a lovely location for a holiday home. It is very private and makes the most of the available outside space - the hot tub is a great addition. Inside it is cozy and characterful, the kitchen is very well equipped and there was comfortably room for three adults. The owner came to see us when we arrived and just before departure which was a nice personal touch. We would certainly visit again.

Mrs F,

Just spent a lovely week in Maria Graig. Very cosy comfortable cottage with all you need. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture. Great private garden with hot tub and bbq. Walking distance to beach and a few eateries. A few hundred yards to the Ship Inn which serves very good food. Excellent location to explore the Llyn Peninsula. Would highly recommend.

Previous Customer,

An immaculately clean and very well equipped cottage with high quality fittings. Well enclosed garden, with the icing on the cake being the lovely hot tub which you can use whatever the weather. We would highly recommend this little gem of a property. We had a lovely stay.

Mrs H,

A beautifully appointed cottage in easy walking distance from the beach. The hot tub was a fantastic touch and lovely to watch the sun setting over the hills from it.

Mr W,

I had a lovely time the host who met us there was a top guy. The hot tub was ready to use on arrival. I had such a relaxing weekend.
