Description
Stand at the peak of mighty Snowdon and gaze out over Moel Siabod, a mountain swathed in mystery and legend. This is where Beudy’r Wennol, a fabulous holiday cottage, is waiting to welcome you for adventure and intrigue in the Welsh mountains.
For the adventurous
There are adventures around every corner in this part of the world. Mountains loom overhead while valleys sweep into the distance. And this gem of a retreat is your oasis of calm amongst it all, a place to recharge your batteries before heading out on your next quest.
The vaulted ceilings and exposed beams tell you this is a place with history – there are many stories to be told here. You’ll enjoy recounting your day’s discoveries on the plush leather sofas in front of the gorgeous wood burner. Your aching muscles will thank you, as will your ravenous companions as you serve delicious homecooked food on the comfortable dining table. The kitchen is well-stocked and there’s plenty of space for a hearty roast or a cooked breakfast to fuel your journey out into the wilds.
The portrait window and French doors are the perfect places to sit and admire the expansive view, that never seems to be the same from one gaze to the next. Trace the contours of mountains or simply greet the grazing sheep in the surrounding countryside, who’ll bring a smile to your face when they manage to sneak up on you.
Outside, there is a hot tub for indulgent soaks and furniture for al fresco dining in front of the mountains. Inside, the calming bedrooms are painted in soft whites and finished with natural timber, beckoning you to sleep after days well spent. What’s in store for tomorrow? A visit to Zip World or Adventure Parc, or a leisurely stroll in Betws y Coed? This is the place to enjoy North Wales at its very best.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
There is space for six in this oasis of calm, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two bedrooms have king-size beds and en-suite shower rooms, while the third bedroom has twin single beds and an en-suite shower room.
