Poolside Cornwall

This holiday retreat is all about the water. Not just the turquoise Cornish coast, twinkling away beyond the horizon but also your very own heated pool. Just outside in your garden and all yours to enjoy. Offering a luxurious warmth throughout your entire stay you’ll find it hard to drag yourself away from the poolside loungers basking in the sunshine.

Set in lovely gardens with that pool, this beautifully converted pet friendly barn rental offers spacious, comfortable living for five and if they came too, two dogs. The stylish stone and slate exterior welcomes you into the open plan ground floor where original barn features combine to perfection with modern luxury.

At one end, the giant corner sofa with its deep, deep cushions aligned perfectly for a spot of fireside warmth presides before you flow through into the stylish rustic dining area ahead of the kitchen. Here, nothing’s a chore amid the soothing white and wood with glimpses of that pool through the windows. And throughout, azure touches and seaside prints remind you that this is all about the (warm) water.

Upstairs, three cosy bedrooms await you under the eaves. You’ll sleep like babes in the super king size beds in the lap of peace and quiet. And dream of the promise of more poolside relaxation ahead.

And if you do manage to leave the pool, you’ll be more than rewarded. The glorious Cornish coast is just a short distance away. The pretty fishing village of Coverack lies nearby as does Lizard Point and the rugged coastline with all its little coves and bays, perfect spot for a dip in the sea. But then again, it isn’t warm…

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Tremenhere Barn has three bedrooms, two double with super king size beds and a small single. Settle in to a heavenly night’s sleep on the upper floor where there’s also a family bathroom with separate bath and shower.
