Reviews

A beautiful house in a unique and fabulous setting! By far the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in and like all the people who holiday at Edgehill, we would move in tomorrow!

Mrs C,

Really happy with the house, exactly as described

Miss Francesca H,

A fabulous warm, welcoming holiday home when we arrived. When the sun was shining the beaches here and at Newquay were fab for having fun and surfing. The walk over the hills and the coastal path was one adventure. We had a great time! Kids loved it.

A lovely house in a very special place, away from crowds but with so many wonderful places easily accessible. We were blessed with wonderful weather for trips to Heligan, Eden Project, Fowey, but especially loved Restormel and Lostwithiel - the Trewithien restaurant is superb. The house has everything we could possible need, and much more. The birds were endlessly entertaining ... don't miss the dolphins following the wake of the Mevagissey/Fowey ferry - wonderful! Thank you. I think we'll be back.

Edgehill is certainly a very special house. The beautiful garden across various levels is lovely and we appreciated many hours enjoying the sunshine, sounds and scenery. An evening meal outside, whether on the patio, or the glass table area is a must. The house is truly gorgeous and we enjoyed discovering all the various rooms, bathrooms (all beautifully decorated) and of course, the spectacular views.

Just to let you know that we had a fabulous time during our stay at Edgehill. What a beautiful property and in a great location. We would particularly like to commend the cleaning as the place was immaculate on arrival. We like to give credit when it's due, so please would you pass on our thanks to all concerned

The North Family

Our family have fallen in love with not only Cornwall and all it has to offer, but also this truly wonderful idyllic home. Edgehill really is just perfect in every way. The stunning views, glorious gardens and outdoor space with alfresco dining, cosy luxurious home comforts, the privacy, it has it all.

The WOW factor Before we entered the house, we were really impressed with the terraced garden. It is wonderful with many places to sit and admire the green hills surrounding the property and the sea views. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We entered the house and it was just perfect. It has everything you need to have a fantastic time. The kitchen was very well equipped with new saucepans and cooking utensils. The beds were comfortable and the showers were powerful. Everything worked well and we had no problems. The house was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our week very much. We wished we could have stayed all summer.

This is our second visit to this most beautiful house and the wonderful garden. We had a fantastic time here. The house is so welcoming, so clean and had everything we needed. We all felt relaxed and happy. The sun was shining and so we all loved sitting in the garden looking over to the fields. We enjoyed some good walks and saw so many bluebells and primroses. Since our last visit we discovered we had ancestors who actually lived in the Terrace near the church so we found that interesting. This is such a lovely house so thank you for making it so comfortable for a perfect holiday. Next time we hope to stay for two weeks but wish we could stay all summer!

Walking the south-west coastal path starting from the wrong end of our home in Dorset. We are doing the 630 mile length in weekly sessions over a number of years whilst staying in holiday homes along the way.

We have had a wonderful week. Edgehill is lovely and has everything you need. We've been to Meavgissey, Padstow, Polperro, Looe, Lands End and Gorran Haven. We will be hightly recommending Edgehill to friends and family. It's a great base. The extra outside area is a great touch.

What a wonderful place. We have really enjoyed our stay at Edgehill. The house is really lovely, very homely and comfortable. The views are stunning and there is much to explore. Really impressed with how well equipped it is. We managed to fit in some coastal walking - one day we walked to Gorran Haven and back (13 miles). Can definitely recommend if you enjoy a walk. The local pub is also fab, with great food and cosy atmosphere.
