Imagine light, open spaces. Those thoughtful little details at every turn and more than enough room for everyone. And that’s inside and out. A holiday home to indulge all of you. Welcome to Thalassa.

Spacious Suffolk

As you draw up outside the stunning contemporary exterior, you already know this is going to be special. Inside, it’s all about light and space that greets you throughout this three storey holiday haven in Aldeburgh.

Take the open plan living area. Start in the oh-so stylish lounge perfect in white and oak with an entire palette of blues providing the perfect contrast. Navy, turquoise, sapphire, azure… in the throws, the cushions, the curtains and the seascapes on the wall. All basking in tons of natural light, ready for your relaxation and reminding you that the sea awaits just around the corner.

Flow through into the Ercol dining area where there’s room aplenty for all eight of you to catch up over a lazy breakfast or leisurely dinner. That you’ll have prepared in the spacious kitchen where nothing’s a chore amid the elegant eggshell blue and sleek black appliances. And have you noticed the size of them? Double range, giant oven, American-style fridge…

The elegance continues over the two upper floors where four bedrooms, big (of course) offer sumptuous sleeping in space and style. And then there are the bathrooms, all three, again spacious and light. Think pristine white, classy black and roll top baths.

And then to the outside where a lovely walled garden, perfectly placed to capture the best of the Suffolk sunshine and all day. A paved patio, lawn and the scents of roses offer a glorious spot for al fresco dining and yet more relaxation.

On the doorstep lies Aldeburgh, one of Suffolk’s prettiest towns with a long beach and Edwardian façades. Explore the fishermen’s huts where you can buy the freshest of catches for that al fresco meal, and the many art galleries and shops before you head to the estuary to admire the yachts and sailboats.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Thalassa has four bedrooms – three of which are on the first floor including a master with super king, and another master on the top floor with super king and Juliet balcony. There are three bathrooms (two of which are en suite) plus a handy cloakroom downstairs.

Beautiful house with a very well equipped kitchen. Very good location for walking to the town, the beach and to Thorpeness. Lovely welcome pack when we arrived and an Adnams welcome pack too which was a wonderful surprise. The fire was a bonus which we sat around most evenings. Would highly recommend.

Mrs T,

What a fantastic property. Absolutely amazing inside with a well equipped kitchen and lovely sitting areas both inside and out. All the bedrooms were lovely too and as a bonus 3 had fantastic en-suite facilities. The property is only 10 mins walk from the high street and an even shorter walk from the beach. A fantastic place for a family holiday and we are already making plans to visit again.

Mr L,

Very well maintained property with easy access to the beach and to the centre of town. Nicely furnished and with lots of space for the family to relax. We had a lovely stay - thank you!

Ms P,

The property has an excellent lawn and seating area at the rear of the property. This area is bathed with sunshine most of the day. Access to the shops is provided by a myriad of interesting footpaths. The town has an abundance of traditional dining facilities. We recommend the property to all groups of holiday makers. Hopefully we will return in the near future. Terry Eagling & Family
