Description
Here’s a real home away from home, resplendent in luxury and yet relaxed enough to wind down in completely. The kitchen is the heart of the home here. Enjoy!
Informal luxury
You’ll feel instantly at home with family and friends at this cosy yet spacious holiday home. This is the perfect base for a family celebration with five sumptuous bedrooms and a warm welcome guaranteed. Nestle in to one of the many the squishy sofas and armchairs and you might find it hard to leave. A cosy fireplace and high-quality textiles will make you feel totally at ease.
You’ll love the light and bright kitchen with double height ceiling, and bespoke units in subtle seaside tones of pale woods, greys and blues. Entertaining a large group of up to 12 is made easy here, with all the equipment you’d have at home. Fling open the large bi-fold doors and bring the outside, in. Aiding the feeling of space the ability to enjoy inside-outside living here is fabulous as the kitchen, dining area and terrace with large rattan sofa all blend into one.
Beyond the terrace a spacious, lawned and private garden is enclosed - pet-friendly and dog safe. And there never needs to be a quiet moment with a plethora of garden games including petanque, croquet, quoits and badminton to play. Alternatively, put your feet up and simply soak up the sunshine (no guarantees, sorry!).
Aldeburgh is a culture-lover’s treat with Benjamin Britten’s Aldeburgh Musical Festival taking centre stage in June at Snape Maltings. Fishermen still pull up their colourful boats along the shingle beach and sell the freshest of fish from picturesque huts. Watch as yachts galore set sail on the Alde Estuary. It’s a shopper’s paradise too, plenty to peruse among the independent shops and a fabulous choice of cafes and restaurants along the Georgian High Street.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
All five of the bedrooms have been furnished with flex in mind. On the ground floor you’ll find a super king and a twin sharing a Jack & Jill bathroom with gorgeous roll top bath and walk-in shower. The first floor offers another twin, a king size room and a further twin with truckle beds beneath. The family bathroom spaciously provides both bath and separate shower. Luxurious bedding and quality furnishings lend a touch of excellence. Soak in the rolltop bath or luxuriate in the walk-in shower.
