A perfectly converted former stable has been beautifully renovated to provide a gorgeous countryside retreat, overlooking the old apple orchard and woodland with its very own private wood fired soaking tub!
Every detail within this luxurious property has been carefully thought of to enhance your stay. You will love the rustic feel with exposed wooden beams and high vaulted ceilings but with a stunning modern twist! Chic vibrant fabrics and Moroccan style tiles offer a wonderful pop of colour to the property. Large welcoming Hypnos cashmere beds await, with a perfect star gazing window above you. There is also a fabulous fully fitted kitchen and a large open plan living-diner area with french doors out to your terrace.
If this wasn’t enough, you can book a day at The Firs Suffolk Spa facilities* (see below for details) sauna room, indoor and outdoor shower, changing facilities and a plunge bucket. Perhaps you would like to enjoy an evening around the firepit BBQ in the comfort of your cottage.
You can relax under the stars in your own private wood fired soaking tub, listening to the breeze in the trees. The owners also have little extras they can offer for you to do on site to make your stay extra special. You can hire a pizza oven, book to use the Spa area/Sauna, hire bikes, pick fresh veggies/eggs or just sit back and watch the birds and clouds in the sky - please email direct to the owners: firstname.lastname@example.org to book the Spa, bikes or pizza oven in advance, and as much notice as possible will be appreciated.
Take a stroll through the 4 acres of gardens and woodland, picnic in the woods or stop by at the courtyard to cook and create homemade pizzas using the outdoor oven and seasonal ingredients from the kitchen garden. Whatever you choose to do here, you will have a fabulous stay.

We have had a wonderful holiday at ‘The Stables’. The accommodation was tidy and very clean! The location was fantastic as it allowed us to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just switch off. Our 18 month old son enjoyed exploring the extensive grounds. The welcome basket was so thoughtful and delicious too! Thank you for a fantastic and relaxing few days, we do hope to return soon!
Fantastic short break, spa was amazing.
This is a truly beautifully designed and thoughtfully curated setting. It was both tranquil and luxurious; the wood fired hot tub and fire bowls really added something special. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more welcoming they even messaged us about the potential to witness shooting stars in the Suffolk sky one evening, which we were indeed lucky enough to experience. Highly recommended.
