An impressive holiday cottage, right in the heart of the picturesque centre of Woodbridge, Beresford House is a luxurious property and the perfect blend of pet-friendly rural retreat and spacious base for Suffolk adventures.

Craftsmanship and character in the heart of the village

Light pastel colours and walls of windows letting in the light – this tastefully decorated home perfectly complements the nature that surrounds it. From its redbrick features to the beauty of its original beam, Beresford House is lovingly furnished and finished with incredible craftsmanship.

The large, contemporary kitchen with centre island is perfect for cooking up big family feasts or starting the night's festivities with a group of friends. It’s fully-equipped with an oven, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, so you can host any size party with ease. The beautifully carved beams and natural wood table seem to bring the wilds of Suffolk to the stunning, six-person dining space. The living room floods with light from the picture windows that lead to the sunroom. Perfect for cosying up after long days in the countryside, you’ll find a Smart TV, crackling wood burner and breathtaking views across Elmhurst Park. Or, bask in the setting summer sun with your friends and toast the night away.

As you exit the doors to the breathtaking sunroom, you’ll find a private garden for soaking up the summer rays with your pooch.

A historic town filled with charm and wonder, families will enjoy long walks along the River Deben, light lunches in one of its many countryside pubs, or gourmet nights out at mouthwatering restaurants. Or bring your friends and soak up the heritage of this stunning Suffolk village, from the famous Tide Mill to its bustling market.

Visited Beresford House for 2 weeks in Jun 2021. It was fabulous, and exactly as the website describes. Excellent location on a the Thoroughfare in Woodbridge, easy key access, above a lovely Tea Room. Kitchen well stocked, cooks knives fabulous, and chairs around the island so you can sit and prep your lovely locally sourced food. Great lounge, fab TV, Bluetooth speaker, lovely conservatory and external space. Three fab double bedrooms, two with en-suite and a gorgeous “family bathroom”. Stairs to 2nd floor are steep but wasn’t a problem for us (mid 60’s). Everything worked and things we generally bring on a rental holiday we’re not needed at all. You are literally a few mins walk from supermarket, fresh fish, bakers etc and a very, very short walk to harbour. We couldn’t fault it and we love Woodbridge. ***** (5 stars!)

Mr K,

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beresford House is a lovely and well appointed property. It is spacious, warm and inviting. The property has modern updates, is clean and quite cozy. It’s location on the Thoroughfare provided access to various shops in town. I would recommend this property to visitors. .
