Description

La Villa is a unique 4 bedroomed property with indoor heated pool, situated down a private lane in the village of Ovingdean, just a short drive from the vibrant city of Brighton and Hove, yet also close to the beautiful South Downs National Park with its country walks, cycle rides and pubs.

Accessed via a gravel driveway, the property is spacious and stylishly decorated. The main hub of the house is the large modern kitchen/dining room which overlooks a decked terrace from large sliding doors. The terrace has an outside seating/dining area and two rattan style sun loungers to relax on. The swimming pool annex can be accessed from either the terrace or the interior hallway. Perfect for a family holiday or a gathering of friends, La Villa is the ultimate holiday villa on the south coast. Coast: 1.4 miles, Shop: 1.4 miles, Pub: 1.4 miles, Train Station: 4.4 miles.

Leading to... Decked terrace with outdoor table and 6 chairs, 1 teak bench and 2 rattan effect sun loungers.

Behind the dining area is: Bedroom 4 with twin single beds, mirrored fitted wardrobes, 1 bedroom chair, 2 side tables with lamps. En suite shower room.

Stairs from kitchen lead up to large landing area with library book shelves and occasional chair, living room with two 3 seater settees, one leather 2 seater settee, 1 coffee table, 2 armchairs, TV and speaker, 2 armchairs, footstool,  side tables with lamps.

We have returned from La Villa after a wonderful weeks holiday. The house, gardens and swimming pool were well maintained with luxurious soft furnishings and the dining / cooking equipment was excellent. Spacious rooms, a bright and sunny courtyard provided our party of 8, [ranging in age from 3 years old to 66 years], with all the space we needed. Many thanks to the owner, [who we met on arrival], for the welcome pack of a delicious basket of savoury and sweet snacks. We would recommend this house to our family and friends.

Absolutely loved La Villa. It’s very well located, private and homely. The pool was amazing and we felt the different levels of the house helped us separate the kids when they went to bed and us watching tv without disturbing them. The garden was lovely and we had everything we needed. The host had fantastic communication with us the entire time and really made us feel welcome. We will definitely return.

A wonderful house with an excellent pool which kept all the members of our family from myself (77) to my grandson (1) happy throughout the week - come sun or come rain. Proximity to Brighton's attractions. Design of rooms and number of televisions allowed everybody to "do their own thing -" as well as getting together, Fascinating pictures and decor with a good selection of books and games.

Birthday celebration (7 ladies)… great property, very spacious & with a good size swimming pool. The surroundings of the property are beautiful & the courtyard is beautifully surrounded by the entire property. If you don’t want to be in the crowded part of Brighton this is the place to book & you’re not far from Brighton Center/Pier. The owner of the property was always at hand if we needed anything & the service we received from start to finish was impeccable! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Original Cottages!
