The Hobbit House sits majestically overlooking the beautiful Sussex countryside, adjacent to the owner's oast house, yet entirely separate. This unique hideaway overlooks the owner's vineyard which produces an awarding-winning sparkling rosé. The Hobbit House was built by local craftsman from local materials and offers luxury accommodation with 2 double en-suite bedrooms and would make the perfect idyllic rural retreat for 2 couples or even a small family. There is a stunning vaulted and beamed ceiling in the central living area and a wood burning stove. You can dine inside or out and enjoy the stunning views from the hot tub at the bottom of the garden. There are plenty of things to do in this area including walks along the river to Bodiam Castle, launch your own kayaks from the riverbank, steam trains in Northiam, cycling in Bedgebury Forest or explore the nearby ancient towns of Rye and Winchelsea. Visit The Hub which is the local meeting place for buying locally produced food and wine, arts and crafts and also offers activities and experiences. Camber beach, with its golden sands, is a short drive away and there are many local gastro pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Book a vineyard tour during your stay at the Hobbit House and enjoy a tour of your very own vineyard!

The Hobbit House was a fantastic place to stay. Really comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The hot tub was a bonus.
Very convincing Hobbit House with a friendly, informative host and plenty of towns only a short drive away. What's not to love? Also, Hot tub!
Absolutely stunning property and so like a real hobbit house. Very warm and cosy, loved the hot tub!
This was one of the best English get aways we've had. The whole experience was amazing and the hosts were great. Highly recommend.
The hobbit house is unique, fun but luxurious. Our 4 year old loved it, but so did mum and dad. The hot tub was a particular hit. And the host, is fabulous. Would highly recommend.
