See the sea. Muse over the mount. Savour the space and the vista of your coastal Cornish retreat while the family make themselves at home or debate which beach to they’ll explore first.
St Michael’s Mount draws your eye at every possible moment here. Every effort has been made to make the most of the view. The floor to ceiling picture window of the sitting room could well be fought over for the best view in the house, while even the angular window in the kitchen has been added to provide the best glimpse of the tidal isle and its castle
This large family holiday home appeases all ages. The views will please all, the play equipment in the back garden will occupy others while the glass fence around the front lawn provides peace of mind as well as continuing uninterrupted views from St Michael’s Mount across to Mousehole and Penzance. On the first floor the sitting room is a lovely open space with ample seating that leads into the kitchen and on to the dining room. Opening on to a small balcony, the table and chairs here call you to al fresco morning coffees as you watch the sailing boats go by. With light pouring in from all angles this is a bright and modern home away from home.
Marazion with its fairytale castle and tidal beach promises a stunning family holiday in Cornwall. At the seashore adrenalin junkies can fill up on surfing, sailing, windurfing and kitesurfing while little’uns battle it out for the best sandcastle or deepest hole. After a day at the beach the outside heated shower is the perfect provision for leaving excess sand behind.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
The first of four bedrooms is on the first floor with a king size bed and en suite shower room. Three more bedrooms on the ground floor include another kind size, one twin and a single with a pull-out trundle bed if required. In the family bathroom there is a gorgeous freestanding bath as well as separate shower.
A beautiful, well equipped house with wonderful views over the sea and St Michael's Mount. Just a 5 to 10 minute stroll down to the beach (slightly longer going back as up a bit of a hill). Walking distance to the local shops, pub and restaurants. Selection of all the big supermarket stores a short drive away. We were a family group ranging in age between 6 months and 67 years (plus a dog) and Gwyns An Mor suited us all perfectly. Would certainly return and certainly have no hesitation in recommending the property.
Excellent location with a view of St Michael’s Mount and an easy walk into Penzance.
Gwyns An Mor is a lovely spacious family house overlooking Marizion. The view is timeless, we didn’t watch tv all week. House very clean with all amenities needed. Perfect location for beach and exploring the Cornish coast.
Excellent property, well equipped and comfortable all round. In a good location, within easy walking distance of beaches and amenities.
Lovely modern clean well furnished and comfortable house. Amazing views of Mounts Bay.
Another wonderful 2 weeks in this fabulous house. This was our 2nd visit and didn't disappoint. Kayaking in the bay is highly recommended and for a treat Ben's kitchen. Hope to return.
Fantastic house with amazing views over Mount's Bay. Ideal location. House was immaculately clean and well presented. Have stayed in many cottages in Cornwall, but this one will take some beating!
Fantastically beautiful house! Will definitely miss the views. Very clean, Spotless! Thank you. The best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Thanks.
Just spent a wonderful week in this fabulous property. The specification of the house is second to none and the views were amazing. It will be hard to find another property to match the facilities, finish, comfort, location and views of this one.
Our first visit to this beautiful house with its amazing views across the bay. We loved the layout of this spacious house and the lack of clutter. Had a good meal at Ben's kitchen and would love to return. Thank you.
We love the location and views from the house. We've enjoyed evenings in the sun overlooking Mounts Bay.The children loved the rockpools and Marazion children's plaground. We can recommend the train park and ride to Porthminster Beach - stunning! We would love to return to this lovely home.
We loved this house. The decor, the space and most of all the beautiful views. The castle is fascinating and the sea incredibly clear. We had some lovely sunny days on the beach and hope to return.
Wow, a stunning location, amazing place. Had a superb time. Cannot fault a thing. First visit, but definately not the last. A massive THANK YOU. A magical place! Bowled over by it all.
Many thanks for renting us such a fantastic house. We absolutely loved it. We normally like to pass back constructive comments but this one was so good that I cannot think of anything that could be improved. Please pass on our thanks the lady who looks after the house and cleans it to such an exceptional standard.
