The stunning modern woodburner tempts you to light it and settle in straightway. Dove grey wide glass doors open to a ramp to the fabulous flagstone patio and manicured lawns. Just a mile from the nearest pub means there’s an excellent drink within tramping distance. Conquer the 199 steps up to the ruins of Whitby Abbey and celebrate with freshly caught and cooked fish and chips on the beach.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Spacious, light bedrooms in the eaves are super comfortable and airy. At either end of the gantry you’ll find one twin room and one king size bedroom with en suite. On the ground floor, there’s a wet room with walk in shower on the ground floor, plus a bedroom, making this property truly accessible.

Reviews

The Barn is a lovely place to stay. The property itself is a good size and very well equipped. The grounds are really pleasant, and the small villages either side are nice to visit. Also it is a great base for visiting the attractions of North Yorkshire.

The Barn was everything we were wanting. Beautiful property in perfect surroundings. Ruswarp is a lovely village with great pub and riverside cafes. We were glad we stayed here rather than in Whitby. Would definitely recommend.
