This beautiful property is a grand and imposing part of a late Victorian mansion in the quiet and picturesque village of Scalby, near Scarborough. It has been completely renovated to a high standard, retaining many grand features. The rooms are large and lavishly furnished in a graceful style. There are large windows bathing the rooms in sunlight. The sitting room and master bedroom have impressive arches leading to the large window areas, a real feature of these rooms. There is a full-size snooker table in the large games room. The kitchen is large and well equipped with lovely French doors opening up onto a courtyard area, which is great for informal gatherings or a relaxing morning coffee. There is a more formal dining area for family and friends to gather and enjoy a meal together.
To the side of the property is parking for three cars and an electric charging point. Outside, there is a large garden which features a lawned area, patio with outdoor furniture, a barbecue, and best of all, an eight-seat hot tub! Bathrobes are provided.
Church Beck House has large and spacious rooms, original fireplaces and ornate ceilings, a really special place for families or friends to celebrate a special occasion.
This area is close to Scarborough with all it has to offer, beaches, surfing, restaurants and cafes and a large shopping area. Whitby is also within easy driving distance with its Abbey, links to Captain James Cook, cobbled streets, famous fish and chips and so much more. Go see the North York Moors with masses of walks and cycleways. There is so much to do in this area you will be spoilt for choice.

GROUND FLOOR:
Entrance: Hallway with stone tiled floor, coat hooks and seat to remove your shoes.
Utility/Shower Room: Stone tiled floor and panelled walls, with shower cubicle and rain-head shower, WC, Belfast sink with mirror over. Here you will find the laundry cupboard housing a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Kitchen: The stone tiled floor is carried through to the luxurious kitchen with plenty of storage, a large island, Smeg range cooker with five ring induction hob, fridge freezer, integrated dishwasher, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine. A lovely dresser adds more storage. Enjoy sitting at the extending breakfast table and enjoy the view through the French windows. Open to the dining room.
Dining room: Dining table and eight chairs, the perfect place to reflect on the days sightseeing and make plans for the next day, feature mirrored wall, a lovely French style cabinet plus two side tables and lamps.
Lounge: With two leather chesterfield sofas and two winged leather chairs, relaxing is easy in this beautiful room. Take in the panelled ceiling and panelled arch to the square bay window There is a large screen Smart TV for those who want to catch up on their favourite programmes or you could make use of the keyhole desk. There is an original wooden fireplace with tiled insert and a electric flame effect fire.
Games room: This magnificent room, full of ambience, houses a full-size snooker table, comfortable seating and a feature stone fireplace with a log burner, a great place to unwind from a day on the beach or walking in the beautiful North York Moors National Park.
From the dining room stairs lead up to the first floor.
FIRST FLOOR:
Master Bedroom: King-size wooden bed with a bedside cabinet and lamp at one side and a dressing table with triple mirror and two lamps at the other. At the bottom of the bed is a chest and there is a range of wardrobes to one wall with one mirrored door, plus a chest of drawers with a large screen TV. With the same large bay window as the below and a daybed in the bay this is a truly delightful room.
Green Room: King-size bed with two bedside cabinets and lamps, TV, dressing table and built-in wardrobes and a lovely view over the garden.
Family Bathroom: The freestanding oval bath rests on a tiled floor. There is a separate shower cubicle with rain-head shower, WC and modern wash bowl on a wooden stand with mirror over, heated towel rail.
Cloakroom: Toilet and washbasin.
SECOND FLOOR:
Blue Room: Facing the front, with twin beds and a bedside cabinet and lamp between, a nest of tables with TV, chest of drawers chair and quirky hooks for hanging your clothes.
Mustard Room: Rear facing with king-sized bed and two bedside cabinets with lamps, single wardrobe, chest of drawers with mirror over and TV.
Shower room: Modern room with shower cubicle, WC and wash bowl on wood stand with mirror over. Heated towel rail.
Pets: Sorry, no pets.
Garden: Private garden with hot tub, patio with garden furniture and barbecue.

Scalby
Situated on the outskirts of the popular resort of Scarborough, pretty Scalby village makes a tranquil spot to tour the sights of the Yorkshire coastline. With a quaint beck running through the village, it's lovely to explore the village on foot and the two popular local pubs, local store, church and local restaurants are located at the centre of the village or within easy walking distance. There are also tennis courts, a bowling green and playing fields to be found here, ideal for cricket or football on an evening. A regular bus service links you to Scarborough while the 'cinder track' (where the old railway used to run) connects you to the popular town of Whitby further up the coast which can be enjoyed on foot or by bike with some breathtaking coastal views along the way.
