Village luxury

Set on the village green – you’ll love the view of the maypole flags from your window – this beautifully converted Yorkshire stone house makes the perfect getaway for all of you. There’s more than room enough in the generously sized sitting rooms (two) and dining rooms (two) where you can all get together to eat, drink and relax.

Settle down in front of the cosy woodstove and luxurious sofas whose plump cushions are almost impossible to resist. Then cook up a little something in the rustic kitchen where white cabinets accompany Bosch appliances, stunning granite countertops and pristine Belfast sinks. Oh, and there’s an AGA for that extra country touch.

Enjoy your creation in either of the dining rooms or if the Yorkshire sun shines, pop outside to the spacious terrace for a spot of al fresco dining. Here, Kettlewell Beck babbles past as it makes its way to the Dales, that land of promising walks and excursions you can see from the house windows.

The children in your party will love the two separate staircases and all 10 of you will sleep deeply in Yorkshire peace and quiet in the bedrooms. All supremely comfy as you’re starting to learn is a given in this holiday home.

And then outside it’s on to the glorious Dales where a walker’s paradise awaits you – perfect for exercising the dogs (up to four) who came along too. Kettlewell itself offers the best of Yorkshire village life, charm and character around the green (yes, the one outside your front door) and of course, the pub with only the best Yorkshire brews on tap.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

One staircase leads to 3 bedrooms, 2 twins and 1 double. All 3 (yes, all) have en suite shower rooms. The second staircase leads to the master bedroom with super king size bed, another double and family bathroom.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Littlebeck celebrating my father's 90th birthday. The weather was glorious, so were able to enjoy the bbq and spacious outdoor terrace area. We enjoyed walks in the village and spent time in the local friendly pubs. The large cottage was beautiful and very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The welcome food package was a lovely touch, Inc. treats for our dog. We had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend.

We have booked many holiday vacation homes for our family over many years and in many countries. This was far and away the best house we’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautiful, comfortable, well equipped, and in an excellent location. All three generations loved it. The patio had plenty of seating around two large picnic tables and the stream running past was lovely. Kettlewell is charming with 3 pubs, excellent ice cream and a very good children’s playground. We were well positioned for terrific walks, rigorous hikes, and casual strolls. It was an easy drive to the train in Skipton for a quick ride into Leeds for the theatre.
