To give our cleaners enough time to complete the additional cleaning and sanitising that is currently needed to keep our guests safe, check-in and check-out times at the majority of our properties have been temporarily revised. The revised times for this property are reflected above.
As featured in The Telegraph in November 2018 in an article titled 'Self-Build. It can be fun to make a little go a long way'.
With its outer shades of white and light blue that evoke its nearby coastal setting, and with an interior blend of traditional and chic, the Old Print Shop captures perfectly the Norfolk coastal style. The town of Holt itself is renowned for its art and antique galleries, and for its Georgian charm, but even so, the Old Print Shop stands out for its freshness. This luxury self-catering property may be just the right size for a romantic getaway, but its magic lies in its deceptive spaciousness on the inside.
A gem amongst gems
Set just off the town’s High Street, the Old Print Shop immediately features a small shingled courtyard, where guests can share a glass of wine and watch the world go by. Inside, the sitting room combines with the dining room. There are two button-back Chesterfield sofas and a wood burner to set an even tenderer mood.
Separately, an angled kitchen gives the property just the right dose of quirkiness to make it feel like home. Cooking at home will be a pleasure anyhow, thanks to Holt and its food shops which offer the best of local produce. For those little treats, you might want to sneak in every now and then, however, after a day spent visiting the local art and antique galleries, and window shopping in the fashion boutiques, Holt’s charming pubs and restaurants are sure to leave you feeling even more like a welcome local.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
In true style, the Old Print Shop features a state-of-the-art walk-in wet room on the first floor. On the other side of the landing, and with an oval bath in the corner of the room, the king-size master suite will really make couples understand that the property was designed with them in mind. Further decorated with a feature wall, white-scrubbed floorboards, and Velux window, where better to reconnect as reality gently soaks away?
A starter pack of fuel for the wood burner is provided.
Very upmarket property. Very pleased with the property and the service received from your company
This property is perfect in every way. We have stayed here twice now and love it. The attention to detail is perfect as is the location.
Beautiful cottage in a great location. Perfect for romantic weekends away with a little touch of luxury.
Absolutely beautiful property. The owners Joe and Natasha have done an incredible job of renovating this beautiful property into an amazing holiday retreat. Everything was beyond perfect. Would certainly stay here again.
A stunning property, friendly and helpful owner/hosts, if we visited the region again it would be our choice without hesitation.
A really lovely and well appointed property in an ideal location.
Lovely cottage, very clean and had everything we needed - we chose it for the decor and location.
The Old Print Shop is a very lovely place to stay. Natasha and Joe have thought of everything - and more - to make this place special. And we were very appreciative of their flexibility when our travel plans changed slightly. Having not spent much time in North Norfolk previously, we absolutely fell in love with it.Holt is a charming town, and ideally placed to visit the wonderful villages, beaches and nature reserves nearby. We particularly enjoyed visiting Sheringham on the steam train - a real treat. The wide open beach at Holkham is delightful, and we spent a few hours twitching at Cley Marshes. The icing on the cake was the glorious weather we were lucky enough to have this Easter. A fantastic break :-)
