Description

Live your most luxurious fantasy at Skylark, your slice of contemporary Welsh glamour tucked away in the sleepy seaside village of Abersoch. Roll up, watch the electric gates part in front of you, and know you’ve truly arrived.

Live your luxury

You’ll want to rise with the larks at this fabulous holiday home, because natural light floods the open plan living area from dawn until dusk through the stylish apex windows. Throw open the balcony doors from the lounge and bathe in the views of mountains and sea, sky and trees. Sink into the Chesterfield sofas and breathe a sigh of utter contentment.

Serve champagne from the kitchen and gather around the table to toast your health, or make your way out onto the balcony on balmy summer evenings and let conversations flow into the night. Wave down to your companions in the private hot tub, or fetch plates for whoever’s operating the range-style barbecue. This is how you’ve always dreamt of living, and now it is your reality.

Spend blissful days on the beach, then wander home through the trees, up to the village, to wash away the salt and sand. The sleek bathroom is made tranquil with the soft uplights and you’ll find yourself longing to soak a little longer to sip your drink and read a few more pages of your book.

Contemporary touches include the 4K OLED TV, Sky Q and Sonos surround sound system, and there are TVs in all the bedrooms so you can snuggle up to watch a late-night movie. In the mornings, throw open the patio doors from the bedrooms to feel the fresh sea breeze on your skin and walk across the flagstones warmed by the morning sun.

There is a cosy dog bed provided in the practical utility room downstairs.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms at Skylark. All of the rooms contain super-king beds that can also be laid out as twin beds. Two bedrooms have en suites with rainfall showers and the family bathroom has a stylish bath and rainfall shower.

Reviews

Fabulous property. Had a great week Only issue was no welcome pack. It is not a complaint but I presume the owners pay for these. Housekeeper made aware and said she would chase but didn’t get back to us. Could you please inform owner.

Mrs B,

Gorgeous house in a perfect location. Lovely private garden with amazing hot tub. Views from first floor were great. It was extremely well stocked with every type of equipment you could need and high quality appliances throughout. We Will definitely be back to Skylark.

Mrs G,

Fantastic property with all facilities and equipment for a homely family holiday to Abersoch. Walking distance to beach and town. Hot tub was great. Quiet area. Would love to return.

Mrs H,

Some of the equipment was broken on arrival - the hot tub, the fridge door seal, the fridge salad drawer shelf, corkscrew. The bbq was extremely dirty and not fit for purpose until we had given it a good scrub. The wheelie bin for rubbish was filthy with 4” of slime in the bottom that smelled disgusting, especially in the hot weather. For the price of the rental , a good supply of good quality toilet roll would not be amiss, we received 3 poor quality rolls. Lastly, laundry bags were not provided for the bedding and towels . The beds were extremely comfortable and the open plan lounge kitchen diner was very good for entertaining. The walk into Abersoch village would be a little testing for those less able, the road is quite narrow with some areas not having pavement. I can imagine it would be a bit daunting in the dark. We always used a vehicle to eliminate the risk.

Mrs Lisa P,

One problem with the property. There were times of the day when there was no hot water and no instructions on how to override the timer. There were many cold showers! Also could do with a couple of aprons in the kitchen. Other than that - perfect!
