Set within its own enclosed grounds, Beudy Bodowen features underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, magnificent views, a woodburner and en suites in every bedroom. Not to mention a private patio and garden, a beach within 2 miles, a village pub (2.5 miles) and a traditional cinema, cafes, restaurants and shops all within 5 miles.

Endless attractions, including the popular beaches at Tywyn (4.5 miles), Fairbourne (7 miles) and Aberdyfi (8.5 miles). You also have Talyllyn Railway, the ferry crossing to Barmouth (seasonal), castles such as Castell y Bere in a stunning hidden valley, a myriad of walks including the Wales Coast Path, routes to the peak of Cader Idris, underground adventures at King Arthur’s Labyrinth and so much more.

Ground Floor

The kitchen is fully equipped and a large, solid dining table takes centre stage.
  • Lounge: Stylish, contemporary room with sumptuous seating, Smart TV and a welcoming woodburner. Countryside views through windows and a patio door that leads directly to the private rear garden.
  • Utility Room: Including a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge-freezer, this is also a practical room for walking boots, wet clothes etc.
  • Wet-room: Adjacent to the utility room, featuring a rain shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.
  • Bedroom 1: Beautiful ensuite bedroom with twin beds. En suite: Rain shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.

Upstairs

  • Bedroom 2: Stunning ensuite bedroom with far-reaching views. King size bed and fitted wardrobe with full length mirrors. En suite: Bath with shower above, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.
  • Bedroom 3: Another stylish bedroom, also with a double bed and countryside views. En suite: Double shower with rain shower head, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.

Garden

  • Surrounded by its own grounds, you have front and rear patio areas to make the most of the sunshine throughout the day. The private rear patio (with rattan corner sofa) extends to a lawned garden area and enjoys beautiful views over agricultural land towards the Snowdonia hills and mountains.
  • Gas BBQ available. 
  • Charging point for electric cars - £50 charge per car per week, payable on booking.

The owner has taken great pride in presentation and even goes the extra mile to make sure guests are well catered for, even including a basket of welsh produce with the essentials after arrival (tea, milk and eggs). We really could not fault the house in any way and it was perfect for our group of six. The communal areas are spacious, yet cosy. Noise is non-existent other than a bit of wind and a few sheep in the neigbouring field :-) . We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Beudy Bodowen was a fantastically appointed property in an ideal location to explore North Wales. The beaches of Twyn and Aberdovey are lovely and were only a short drive. The property itself is done to a very high standard with lots of modern amenities, the views are stunning and it was very peaceful and quiet.
