Mr M,

We had stayed at No 8 a few years ago and loved the location but the accommodation was in need of a bit of TLC. The new owners have made an excellent job of refurbishing No 8 and now it has the wow factor. A really stylish home from home with everything you need for a wonderful week. Add in the fantastic views, lovely balcony and parking definitely one of the best places to stay in Fowey.

Mrs S,

This property has the most amazing position, with views over the estuary and Polruan. easy walking distance to the ferry, shops, pubs etc ad private parking as well. So comfortable, warm and a real home from home. Extra treats were provided which just made us feel so welcome. Loved it.

Mrs P,

A fabulous property with great views across to Polruan. The standard of decor and comfort is very high. Thoughtfully decorated and lots of lovely little extra touches, the hosts have thought of everything! I felt at home here immediately.

Miss P,

Beautiful location with exceptional views of the coast, an excellent property with all needs catered for! Also, with the added bonus of off street parking!

Ms T,

This property was clean well equipped and had the most magnificent view of the sea and the estuary. It was lovely to be near to Readymoney Cove and the town with its pubs and restaurants.

Mrs T,

A superb property with truly magnificent views from its balcony, the main bedroom and kitchen. Magnificently decorated throughout, with real attention to detail. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay really memorable.

Mr W,

A fabulously appointed apartment in a perfect location. All our possible needs had been thought of. We spent hours on the balcony watching the comings and goings of the River Fowey and loved every minute. We would love to stay again.

Mrs B,

No 8 , St Catherine’s is a lush penthouse apartment, views and location are spot in, safe parking is a bonus. Just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous Ready Money cove, and a short walk down into the quaint harbour. The apartment has everything and more you could want, the the welcome pack was a nice touch, we felt that we had stayed in a very special place. There are a lot of stairs, but don’t let it out you off, you won’t be disappointed with this amazing apartment ! We will be returning thats for sure!

Mrs I,

If you haven't yet discovered Fowey, you've got a treat in store.  Full of multicoloured cottages, perched on the hillsides leading down to the sea, this little fishing town has lots to tempt visitors.

There is an entrancing collection of unique local shops and boutiques, along with harbourside cafes, pubs which will give you a hearty welcome and a good atmosphere, and restaurants offering tempting local produce.  If you want a unique insight into the local species in these waters, you could visit Fowey Aquarium, whose residents include specimens brought in by local fishermen.

If you're a fan of Daphne du Maurier, you may want to visit the Literary Centre, which gives information and exhibits about the author and her life and work.  There is also the Fowey Festival of Words and Music, held in May, in which du Maurier, and many other authors, artists and musicians, are celebrated.  Another great spectacle is the Fowey Royal Regatta, held in August.

Fowey lies within one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall, and the backdrop of the surrounding countryside, with its tidal creeks, rolling fields and rugged cliffs, will make you want to return here again and again.
