Description

Harbourside Apartment 3 is a perfect romantic getaway for two.  With fantastic styling throughout and many bespoke features this is one of the best properties in Whitby for a couple to take in the stunning views from the balcony and relax in beautiful surroundings.  From the wooden floors and the bespoke wrought iron work to the fantastic views of Whitby harbour and the swing bridge and taking the original lavish furnishings there is no better place to stay. There is plenty of space to rest in comfort after a long day sight seeing or cosy up and enjoy the views together.

On the south side of the harbour only minutes from the 199 steps which take you up to the historic Whitby Abbey the location is perfect to explore the old town of Whitby and take in the numerous bars and restaurants. Whitby is a very popular seaside town retaining old world character and has lots of events throughout the year. Whatever your interests there is something for everyone in the locality, historic castles, even older abbeys, museums, farms, walking, cycling, superb local markets with the very best Yorkshire produce.

GROUND FLOOR PRIVATE ENTRANCE

Entrance Door: Enter into the hallway leading to stairs which will take you up to the second floor.
Enter into the apartment hallway: 
Lobby through to the hallway with coat hooks and stairs up to the apartment on the third floor.
Viewing Lounge: From the wooden stairs with the bespoke James Godbold wrought iron balustrades to the Velux push out balcony this is the perfect place to relax and take in the sea air and the glorious views this apartment offers. Sit comfortably on the two-seater bed settee or stand in the balcony area and look out over the swing bridge and the harbour. 
Bedroom: 
Through the glass door and glass walls to lend light to the area you will find a spacious bedroom with double bed, bedside cabinet and wall lantern, a beautiful dressing table and mirror with stool located under one of the three Velux windows.  Clothes storage is provided by a chest of drawers and a built in wardrobe.  The beams in this room show the structure of this wonderful building
Open Plan Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: Through the viewing lounge and down a few steps takes you to the spacious living area.  The bijou kitchen has everything you need to make a romantic dinner for two including electric oven, gas hob with hood over, washer dryer, fridge and plenty of storage. There is a bespoke wrought iron unit cleverly fitted between beams and a shelving unit made from an original Bali boat. 
For dining there is a large table with a bench and fixed seating which gives a lovely quiet area to enjoy the meals you have cooked.
The main living area boasts a two seater leather sofa and a second modern sofa plus extra chairs. The large screen Smart TV is on a stand made of reclaimed wood and there is a coffee table and two further sideboards. The Velux window at this side looks over the roof tops to the church by the abbey.
House Bathroom:
 Here you will find a luxury bathroom with a shower bath and thermostatic shower over with glass screen, vanity wash basin with mirror over and WC.

Parking: Scratch cards are provided for on street parking within the designated zones on the West Cliff 10 minutes walk away. This is on a first come first served basis.
